By card type, there are 64 Characters, 8 Events and 1 Field, plus the APs. It's a clearly more compact set than Vol.1 (78 card types against 106), and you notice it when you open it: you complete it sooner, but all the pressure sits on four cards.
By trait: 30 Gotei 13 cards, 10 Sternritter, 6 Kurotsuchi Corpse Unit, 6 Royal Guard, 5 Bambies, 4 Arrancar and 2 zombie. That split tells the story of the second cour better than any summary.
Blue: what changed when it arrived
Bleach started out in Union Arena with three colors (yellow, purple and green), and in Vol.2 Bandai added blue. That matters: in Union Arena, color decides which energy you need to play a card, so a new color is, in practice, a new deck.
And it didn't arrive quietly. 37 of the 78 cards in the set are blue, almost half, along with five of the eight SRs: Ichigo (019), Renji (028), Byakuya (030), Rukia (034) and Mayuri Kurotsuchi (038). So all four signed cards in the set are blue, and so is the one at the very top.
Mechanically, Bleach blue is a tempo color. Vol.2 brings Double Attack to Bleach (the Character switches to active the first time it attacks in a turn, so it attacks twice). Only two cards in the set use that keyword: the green Shunsui Kyoraku 063, which has it printed, and the blue event Getsuga Jujisho 046, which gives it to a blue Ichigo. There is also an unusual number of effects that reactivate Characters you have already used. Against the Gotei 13 green, which plays a build-up game, the difference in pace is obvious.
Series context: Vol.2 covers The Separation, the anime's second cour. That's where the set's two themed oddities come from: the six Kurotsuchi Corpse Unit cards (涅骸部隊, all blue, built around Nemu 035 and the Field 044), not to be confused with Giselle's zombies, a separate trait in yellow. And the six Royal Guard cards (Ichibe Hyosube, Senjumaru Shutara, Oh-Etsu Nimaiya, Kirio Hikifune and Tenjiro Kirinji), which bring the Soul King Palace into the game.
The four foil signatures (and the numbered AP)
This is the set that brought signatures to Bleach. Bandai announced it, word for word, as "finally including cards with foil-stamped signatures from the voice actors", and there are four voices. Note the detail, because it often gets miscounted: four signatures, but five signed cards, because the Rukia SR★★★ has one too.
| Card | Voice | Parallel rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Ichigo Kurosaki · 019 | Masakazu Morita | SR★★ |
| Rukia Kuchiki · 034 | Fumiko Orikasa | SR★★ and SR★★★ (both signed) |
| Renji Abarai · 028 | Kentaro Ito | SR★★ |
| Byakuya Kuchiki · 030 | Ryotaro Okiayu | SR★★ |
The signature is in gold, handwritten over the full-bleed art, and all four also carry a line from the character next to it. Ichigo's reads "助けに来たぜ" ("I've come to save you"); Renji's, "悪党だよ"; Byakuya's, "尸魂界を護ろう"; and Rukia's, the name of her zanpakuto, Sode no Shirayuki (袖白雪).

The set's four SR★★ signatures and, on the right, the Rukia SR★★★ that tops them.
And above all of that sits the serial-numbered AP card, listed separately as EX07BT/BLC-2-AP01★, with the star inside the code itself. It has a printed serial number (the catalog image shows a sample "NO.000") and, according to Bandai, it is planned to carry a handwritten signature from the cast. It is inserted at a very low rate and in limited numbers, and Bandai leaves two warnings in the small print worth reading: it has not decided whether it will be included in reprints, and it can't be exchanged or returned over cosmetic defects.
The 8 SRs
Five blue, one yellow (Giselle), one purple (Ichigo 051) and one green (Kenpachi 067). The blue Ichigo 019 comes in at BP4000+ and so does Kenpachi; the rest sit at a flat BP4000. There are no BP5000 cards in this set, unlike Vol.1 and Vol.3.

Yellow · what's left of the Wandenreich (12 cards)
Only twelve cards, but very focused: the Bambies (Candice, Giselle, Liltotto and Meninas) with their own shared trait, plus a Bambietta who already shows up zombified here. Giselle is the only yellow SR in the set and the one that recycles the zombies.

Blue · the new color (37 cards)
This is where the set lives. Thirty-seven cards, five of the eight SRs and almost everything that makes EX07BT special. Blue is fast and tempo-driven: it switches Characters to active, reactivates the ones that have already attacked and, with the event Getsuga Jujisho, gives Ichigo Double Attack.

Purple · the Royal Guard (12 cards)
Twelve cards, and here's the surprise of the set: the six Royal Guard cards (Ichibe Hyosube, Senjumaru Shutara, Oh-Etsu Nimaiya, Kirio Hikifune and Tenjiro Kirinji, with Senjumaru twice), which bring the Soul King Palace into the game. Ichigo 051, the only purple SR, leans on exactly that: it checks how many cards you have in the Remove Area and how many different Royal Guard names are in play.

Action Point cards (5 + the numbered one)
AP cards don't go in the 50-card deck: they're the three you set aside to pay costs. There are five regular designs here plus the serial-numbered version, which is the one marked with ★ in its code.

The 19 parallels, tier by tier
Parallels share their number with the base card; what changes is the finish and the art. The tier is printed as stars next to the rarity, at the bottom left of the card:
- One star (14 cards). Full-bleed art; almost all of them carry the character's name vertically in romaji, though one or two (Yumichika 062) just get a gold sketch in the background. They come in SR, R, U and C, so not every parallel is of a rare card.
- SR★★ (4 cards). The four signed ones: Ichigo 019, Renji 028, Byakuya 030 and Rukia 034.
- SR★★★ (1 card). Rukia 034. Ice background, with her name in English lettering across the card. It's the top card of the set and the most sought-after of the whole Bleach line in Union Arena.

The chase cards in this set
No prices, because the secondary market moves every month. This is the order of demand in Japan:
- Rukia Kuchiki 034 SR★★★. It's in another league, far above the rest of the set and above the top card of Vol.1 too.
- Rukia 034 SR★★ (the signed one) and Ichigo 019 SR★★, practically tied with the Renji AP card.
- Byakuya 030 SR★★ and Renji 028 SR★★, the other two signatures.
- The Ichigo and Shinji APs, and the set's generic AP.
- One step below: Kenpachi 067★, Orihime 014★ and the purple Ichigo 051★.
For completionists: as with Vol.1, there are promo versions UAPR/BLC-2-034 of Rukia (including a tournament "WINNER" variant). Those don't come in packs. If you're after the product's set list, the code you want starts with EX07BT.
Where to buy Bleach Vol.2 in Europe
Union Arena is hard to find in European game stores, so most people import a box at a time and wait weeks. We bring it in sealed from Japan and keep it in Barcelona. An EX07BT box ships from Spain: 24 - 72 h within Spain, 3 - 8 business days to the rest of Europe, with no customs surprises inside the EU.
EX07BT is a 2024 set, so it isn't always easy to find in Europe. We post news first in our WhatsApp group. The Union Arena collection also has Japanese boxes from many other series.

Bleach Vol.2 [EX07BT]
For the full series context: the Vol.1 [UA08BT] guide covers the set that started the line, and the Vol.3 [EX15BT] and Advanced Deck [UA01DC] guide explains what came out on 11 September 2026, including why those cards carry the BLC-4 code and not BLC-3.
FAQ
How many cards are in Union Arena BLEACH Vol.2 [EX07BT]?
78 card types: 73 playable cards (8 SR, 12 R, 25 U and 28 C) plus 5 Action Point cards. On top of that there is the serial-numbered AP, listed separately as EX07BT/BLC-2-AP01★, and 19 parallel versions that share their number with the base card.
When did EX07BT come out?
On 26 July 2024 in Japan. It was the second Bleach Booster Pack, almost ten months after Vol.1 [UA08BT].
How many packs are in a booster box?
16 packs of 8 cards, so 128 cards per box. The same setup as every other Union Arena Booster Pack.
What makes this set different from Vol.1?
Two things. First, it brought the color blue to Bleach: 37 of the 78 cards are blue, and so are five of the eight SRs. Second, it's the first set in the series with foil-stamped signatures from the voice actors.
Which Vol.2 cards are signed?
Four, and they're exactly the set's four SR★★ parallels: Ichigo Kurosaki (019, voiced by Masakazu Morita), Renji Abarai (028, Kentaro Ito), Byakuya Kuchiki (030, Ryotaro Okiayu) and Rukia Kuchiki (034, Fumiko Orikasa). The signature is stamped in gold over the full-bleed art.
What is the most sought-after card in EX07BT?
Rukia Kuchiki 034 in SR★★★, the set's only three-star card: full-bleed art with her name in English lettering over an ice background. After that come the other three signatures (Ichigo 019, Byakuya 030, Renji 028) and the Renji AP card.
What is the serial-numbered AP card?
An Action Point card with the voice actor's signature and a printed serial number, inserted at a very low rate and in limited numbers. It's listed as EX07BT/BLC-2-AP01★. Bandai warns that it hasn't decided whether it will be included in reprints, and that it can't be exchanged or returned over cosmetic defects.
Which part of the anime does Vol.2 cover?
The anime's second cour, The Separation (BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War). That's why the Royal Guard and the Soul King Palace are in it, and why there's an undead subtheme: Giselle Gewelle's zombies in yellow and the six Kurotsuchi Corpse Unit cards in blue.
Can I mix Vol.2 with Vol.1 and Vol.3 in the same deck?
Yes. The rules let you mix cards that share the three-letter series code after the slash, and BLC-1, BLC-2, BLC-3 and BLC-4 are all "BLC". The limit is 4 copies of the same card number.
Is this set available in English or Spanish?
Not in Spanish. In English, yes: it's UNION ARENA BOOSTER PACK BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Vol.2 [UEX01BT], released on 30 May 2025 (pre-release from 23 May). It isn't a copy of the Japanese set: English packs have 12 cards instead of 8, and the breakdown changes slightly (8 SR, 13 R, 25 U, 28 C and 5 AP).
Where can I buy Bleach Vol.2 in Europe?
Metamorph Center sells the factory-sealed Japanese EX07BT booster box. Ships from Spain. 24 - 72 h within Spain, 3 - 8 business days to the rest of Europe.
