🍭 Fusion World Story Booster 01 (ST01) in Japanese: the first Story Booster of Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World, a set built around the Majin Buu saga where all 85 cards have a parallel version. It came out in Japan on 8 August 2026.
What's in the Japanese Story Booster 01 booster box?
Official Bandai booster box, factory sealed:
- 20 packs per box, with 6 cards each (120 cards in total)
- 85 cards in the set: 5 Leaders (3 new and 2 reprints), 36 commons, 20 rares, 10 Super Rares, 2 Secret Rares and 12 Energy Markers
- A parallel for every one of the 85 cards: commons with Dragon Ball holo, rares with story scenes, SRs inspired by the original anime cels, Leaders foiled on both sides and alt-art Energy Markers
- 2 SCR with Super Alt-Art: Vegito (ST01-070) and Vegeta (ST01-071)
- Official Japanese edition (日本語版), with Japanese card text
About Story Booster 01 (ST01)
Story Booster 01 starts a new line inside Fusion World, where each set focuses on one stretch of the story. This first one goes through the Majin Buu saga, with Goten, Gohan, Dabura, Majin Buu, Vegeta and the Potara fusion Vegito, and also brings in Broly and Paragus. The alt-art Rares recreate famous fights from the arc, shots from the anime's opening and even Buu turning his opponents into sweets.
The new Leaders are Son Goten (red), Majin Buu (green) and Vegeta (black), and each one starts the game with its own Extra card already in the battle area. Vegito (from FB05) and Broly (from FB08) return as reprinted Leaders, now with a parallel that shines on both sides, something Fusion World had never done before. The 12 Energy Markers show scenes from the anime and, along with their parallels, only come in this product.
Why the Japanese version?
- It came out in Japan on 8 August 2026, two weeks before the English edition (21 August)
- 6-card packs, the original Japanese format, with the same 85 cards as the English edition and Japanese text
- The box has been in high demand in Japan since launch and sells well above its retail price there
- The Vegito and Vegeta Super Alt-Arts and the parallel Energy Markers are the most wanted cards in the set
- These are Japanese cards: they are not legal in official tournaments in Europe or the Americas.
Who is this box for?
- Collectors going for the two Super Alt-Art SCRs and the alt-art Energy Markers
- Majin Buu saga fans who want the arc in cards, with Majin Buu, Vegeta and Vegito
