The essentials in 30 seconds ⚡
- Date: 11 September 2026, both products at once, Japanese edition.
- EX15BT (Vol.3): 87 types: 81 playable (12 SR, 12 R, 29 U, 28 C) + 6 Action Point. 8 cards per pack, 16 packs per box.
- UA01DC (Advanced Deck): 50 cards + 3 AP + playmat. 18 types + 1 AP, all shiny, with one guaranteed parallel.
- Signatures: seven cards with a foil-stamped autograph from the anime's cast. Vol.2 had four.
- What it covers: the anime's third cour, "Sōkoku-tan" (The Conflict). Grimmjow and Aizen debut in Union Arena, and Uryu reaches SR in his Wandenreich uniform.
- Numbering: the cards are EX15BT/BLC-4-xxx. BLC-3 went to the 2025 New Card Selection.
- They mix: BLC-1, BLC-2, BLC-3 and BLC-4 are legal in the same deck because they share a series code.
- In English: the same Vol.3 comes out as UEX08BT on 13 November 2026, with 12-card packs. There's no Spanish edition.

The third cour: which part of the story it covers
Vol.3 focuses on the anime's third cour, "Sōkoku-tan", which Bandai translates as The Conflict. That sets the cast of the set and explains two names that weren't in earlier sets.
The first is Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, who appears in the third cour and comes in with the Arrancar trait, the set's only Arrancar block alongside Nelliel. The second is Sosuke Aizen, who goes straight in as a green SR. Both are debuting in Union Arena: they weren't in Vol.1, Vol.2, the Start Deck or the New Card Selection.
Then there's Uryu Ishida, the first of the three. His move to the Wandenreich side isn't new (he was already yellow with the Sternritter trait in Vol.2, as an R), but Vol.3 is the first time he does it as an SR and with a cast signature. It's the kind of thing only a TCG that follows the timeline can pull off: the character switches sides and his card color switches with him.
Bandai sums it up on the product page: besides boosting existing decks, Vol.3 has enough cards to build a whole deck from this product alone. With 81 playable types across four colors, that's a fair claim.
And a detail that gets overlooked: the Japanese product page calls it the first Booster Pack Vol.3 in all of Union Arena. No other series in the game had reached a third booster volume. Add the fact that the game's first Advanced Deck is also Bleach, and it says a lot about how the series is doing in Japan.
The seven foil signatures and the numbered APs
Union Arena prints cards with the voice actor's signature stamped in foil over full-bleed art. They carry weight: in Vol.2 those cards are among the most sought after in the set. Vol.3 raises it to seven:
| Character | Voice | Color in the set |
|---|---|---|
| Ichigo Kurosaki | Masakazu Morita | Blue (027, SR) |
| Uryu Ishida | Noriaki Sugiyama | Yellow (004, SR) |
| Orihime Inoue | Yuki Matsuoka | Blue (022, SR) |
| Yoruichi Shihoin | Satsuki Yukino | Blue (033, SR) |
| Shunsui Kyoraku | Akio Otsuka | Green (069, SR) |
| Sosuke Aizen | Sho Hayami | Green (060, SR) |
| Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez | Junichi Suwabe | Blue (036, SR) |
Above that come the serial-numbered AP cards: Action Points with the cast signature and a printed number, seeded at a very low rate and in limited numbers. Bandai's fine print is worth reading because it affects long-term value. It's not decided whether they'll be included in reprints, and they can't be exchanged or returned for cosmetic defects. Vol.2 had its own, catalogued as EX07BT/BLC-2-AP01★, star included in the code.
About the Vol.3 parallels: when this post went up, the official site already listed the set's parallels (29 entries), but all of them were still marked "coming soon," with no image. The base cards were all published. What you see below is the full base set; the full-bleed and signature versions were due to be shown closer to release.
All 87 EX15BT cards, color by color
Union Arena numbering isn't random: it goes by color. In EX15BT the split is 24 blue, 22 green, 21 yellow and 14 purple, plus 6 colorless APs. Click any card to see it full size.
The 12 SRs in the set
Let's start with what everyone wants to see first. Twelve SRs: 5 blue, 3 yellow, 2 green and 2 purple. Nemu Kurotsuchi at BP5000 has the highest BP in the set, and the blue Ichigo (027) breaks the mold: it comes in at BP2500+ instead of the usual 4000 for SRs, so the text is where the fun is.

The Advanced Deck [UA01DC] in detail
Of the two, this is the product that caught our eye most, and not because of the cards: it's the first Advanced Deck in Union Arena. Until now the game had Starter Decks (entry decks to learn) and booster packs. This is a new category, and Bandai launched it with Bleach.
What sets it apart from a Start Deck:
- All 50 cards are shiny. The 50 cards in the deck plus the AP card have a shiny finish. It isn't "one loose parallel": it's the whole deck.
- A guaranteed parallel. At least one of the cards also comes as a parallel.
- Two SRs with new text. UA01DC/BLC-4-082 Ichigo Kurosaki and UA01DC/BLC-4-083 Rukia Kuchiki, both at BP2500 and both exclusive to the deck. The BLC-4 code is deliberate: they're designed for the same environment as Vol.3.
- It's mono-purple. All 18 playable types are purple, Events included; Getsuga Tensho and Bankai just don't require purple energy to play. It's a direct boost to the Ichigo and Rukia archetype from Vol.1.
- A playmat is included, made of paper with series artwork.
The rest of the deck is selected reprints: thirteen cards with the BLC-1 code (from Vol.1 and the 2023 Start Deck) and three with BLC-2 (from Vol.2). Bandai says it in the fine print: some cards reprint text from earlier products and some have different specs. In other words, if you already play purple Bleach, what you're buying here is the finish and two new SRs, not a deck full of unseen cards.

Why Vol.3 cards use BLC-4
It's the question that comes up every time a Bleach product comes out, so let's get to it. In Union Arena a card code has two parts: the product code (UA08BT, EX07BT, EX15BT, UA01DC…) and, after the slash, the series code plus the batch number. For Bleach the series code is always BLC, and the number after it counts card batches, not booster volumes.
| Batch | Product | Release |
|---|---|---|
| BLC-1 | Start Deck [UA08ST] + Booster Vol.1 [UA08BT] | 29 Sep 2023 |
| BLC-2 | Booster Vol.2 [EX07BT] | 26 Jul 2024 |
| BLC-3 | New Card Selection [UA04NC] | 27 Jun 2025 |
| BLC-4 | Booster Vol.3 [EX15BT] + Advanced Deck [UA01DC] | 11 Sep 2026 |
There it is: BLC-3 went to the New Card Selection, a 12-card set (11 playable and 1 AP) released in June 2025 with art from the BLEACH CALL YOUR NAME VISUAL and eleven character cards with new text. When Vol.3 of the booster came along, 3 was already taken.
The practical part, and the one that really matters if you play: the official rules say a deck can only use cards with the same three-letter series code. BLC-1, BLC-2, BLC-3 and BLC-4 all share "BLC," so they're all legal in the same deck. The only limit is the usual one: 4 copies max of the same card number. Nothing you bought in 2023 is left out.
What about English? UEX08BT and UE01DC, two months later
There's a mix-up worth clearing up, because a lot of people think Bleach in Union Arena is Japanese only. It isn't: BLEACH was the very title Bandai used to launch the English edition of the game, in September 2024. The English edition just runs behind, with a different configuration.
| Product | Japanese | English |
|---|---|---|
| Entry deck | UA08ST · 29 Sep 2023 | UE01ST · 27 Sep 2024 |
| Vol.1 | UA08BT · 29 Sep 2023 | UE01BT · 4 Oct 2024 |
| Vol.2 | EX07BT · 26 Jul 2024 | UEX01BT · 30 May 2025 |
| Vol.3 | EX15BT · 11 Sep 2026 | UEX08BT · 13 Nov 2026 |
| Advanced Deck | UA01DC · 11 Sep 2026 | UE01DC · 6 Nov 2026 |
Two differences that matter if you're deciding what to buy. First: English packs have 12 cards and Japanese packs 8, so the boxes aren't equivalent even though both hold 16 packs. Second: the set breakdown changes a little from one edition to the other (the English Vol.1, for example, has 17 R and 34 C, against 18 R and 35 C in Japanese).
And a third, the one that really decides it: the Japanese edition comes out two months earlier. 11 September against 13 November. There's no Spanish edition of Union Arena at all, Bleach or otherwise.

Frequently asked questions
When did Union Arena BLEACH Vol.3 [EX15BT] come out?
On 11 September 2026 in Japan, the same day as the Advanced Deck [UA01DC]. Both dates are on Bandai's official product pages at unionarena-tcg.com.
How many cards are in EX15BT?
87 card types: 81 playable (12 SR, 12 R, 29 U and 28 C) plus 6 Action Point cards. The pack itself says so: "全81種+AP6種". Parallels come on top and don't count as new types.
How many packs are in a box and how many cards are in each pack?
A box has 16 packs of 8 cards, so 128 cards per box. That's the standard setup for Union Arena Booster Packs.
Which cards carry a cast signature in Vol.3?
Bandai announced seven cards with a foil-stamped signature: Ichigo Kurosaki (Masakazu Morita), Uryu Ishida (Noriaki Sugiyama), Orihime Inoue (Yuki Matsuoka), Yoruichi Shihoin (Satsuki Yukino), Shunsui Kyoraku (Akio Otsuka), Sosuke Aizen (Sho Hayami) and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Junichi Suwabe). That's three more than Vol.2, which had four.
What are the serial-numbered AP cards?
Action Point cards with a printed serial number and the voice actor's signature, seeded into packs at a very low rate and in limited numbers. Bandai's fine print says two things: it hasn't decided whether they'll be included in reprints, and they can't be exchanged or returned for cosmetic defects. Vol.2 had its own (EX07BT/BLC-2-AP01★).
Why do Vol.3 cards use the code BLC-4 and not BLC-3?
Because BLC-3 was already taken by the BLEACH UNION ARENA NEW CARD SELECTION (UA04NC), a 12-card set released on 27 June 2025. The number after BLC counts card batches, not booster volumes, so Vol.3 had to take 4.
Can I mix Vol.1, Vol.2 and Vol.3 cards in the same deck?
Yes. Union Arena's rules say a deck can only use cards with the same three-letter series code after the slash. BLC-1, BLC-2, BLC-3 and BLC-4 all share "BLC," so they're all legal together. The limit is 4 copies of the same card number.
What exactly is in the Advanced Deck [UA01DC]?
A ready-built 50-card deck, 3 Action Point cards and a paper playmat with series art. That's 18 playable types plus 1 AP, all with a shiny finish, and Bandai guarantees at least one of the cards comes as a parallel.
Is the Advanced Deck the same as the 2023 Start Deck?
No. The September 2023 Start Deck [UA08ST] was the entry product: a 50-card deck to learn the game. The Advanced Deck [UA01DC] is Union Arena's first Advanced Deck and sits a step above: every card is shiny, there are two SRs with new text (UA01DC/BLC-4-082 Ichigo and UA01DC/BLC-4-083 Rukia) and it ties straight into Vol.3.
Is Union Arena BLEACH available in English or Spanish?
English, yes; Spanish, no. In fact BLEACH was the title that launched the English edition of Union Arena in September 2024. The English Vol.3 is UEX08BT, due on 13 November 2026, and the English Advanced Deck is UE01DC, due on 6 November. Mind the format difference: English packs have 12 cards and Japanese packs 8, and the set breakdown changes a little between editions. There's no Spanish edition of Union Arena.
Does Metamorph Center carry Union Arena Bleach?
We import Union Arena from Japanese distributors as a regular line: the Bleach Vol.2 box and a wide range of other Union Arena sets are in our catalog. Vol.1 and Vol.2 are older sets. Check the Union Arena collection or join our WhatsApp group, where we post news first.
