Updated 22 May 2026 · Set closed at 118 cards, with a visual gallery by rarity (81 main + 12 AR + 8 SR ex + 6 SR Item + 4 SR Supporter + 6 SAR + 1 gold MUR).

Abyss Eye (アビスアイ) is the fifth Japanese set of the Pokémon TCG MEGA Evolution era (code M5), released in Japanese stores on 22 May 2026. On 14 May Creatures finished publishing the 81 main-set cards, and on 21 May it revealed the remaining 37 secret rares (#82 to #118): 12 Art Rare, 8 Super Rare ex/Mega ex, 6 SR Item, 4 SR Supporter, 6 Special Art Rare and the gold Mega Darkrai ex MUR chase. Final set total: 118 cards.

The star of the set is Mega Darkrai ex , one of the Mega Evolutions from the Mega Dimension DLC making its TCG debut here. It doesn't come alone: the main set has three more Mega ex (Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex) and four regular Pokémon ex. In this post you'll find the full official list of the 81 main-set cards, the 37 secret rares with their official scans grouped by rarity (AR, SR, SAR, MUR), the mechanics of the key cards and where the set fits in the Japanese release schedule. Where it fits in the Japanese schedule

The Pokémon Company also confirmed the next release dates in Japan, so Abyss Eye isn't alone. This is the schedule that follows:

Date Product
22 May 2026 Abyss Eye (Mega Darkrai ex)
31 July 2026 Storm Emeralda (Mega Rayquaza ex)
31 July 2026 3 MEGA Starter Set ex Decks (Eevee, Zoroark, Meowscarada)

16 October 2026 9 "30th Celebration Card Sets" (27 First Partner promos)
