🔥 Ruler of the Black Flame (SV3) is the set of Tera Darkness Charizard ex: a Darkness-type card whose attacks still cost Fire Energy. It comes as SAR 134/108, gold UR 139/108 and SR 125/108. The Japanese set came out on 28 July 2023, and the box holds 30 packs of 5 cards.

About Ruler of the Black Flame (SV3)
The set is built on Pokémon ex that Terastallize into a type that isn't their own. Charizard ex turns Darkness, so it still fits a Fire deck, holds up better against Water and gives a Fire deck a second way to hit for weakness. Its Ability brings in Fire Energy in bulk, and its Burning Darkness attack reaches 330 damage depending on how many Prize cards your opponent has taken.
These cards reached English on 11 August 2023 in Obsidian Flames, a 230-card set numbered xxx/197.

- The Charizard ex in this box carries the Japanese numbering (SAR 134/108); in Obsidian Flames its counterpart is SIR 223/197
- It hit Japanese shelves on 28 July 2023, fourteen days before the Western release
