Secret Rares (064-092)
This is where Mega Symphonia gets serious. The 29 secret rares are 12 Art Rares with full scenic artwork, 11 Super Rares with textured holo, 5 Special Art Rares with the best art in the set, and a Mega Ultra Rare (MUR), one of the first two ever printed (the other is Mega Lucario ex in Mega Brave): Mega Gardevoir ex in gold 🤯
🎨 Art Rares (064-075)
Art Rares use full-card illustrations that show the Pokémon in natural scenes. They are the easiest secret rares to pull in the set, and every one of them looks great.
💎 Super Rares (076-086)
The Super Rares put textured holofoil on all 5 Mega ex in the set, plus full-art versions of the key Trainers and Items. The finish on the Japanese prints is superb.
🌟 Special Art Rares (087-091)
SARs are the cards every collector wants: full-card premium artwork that tells a story. The Mega ex and Supporter SARs here are museum pieces 😍
👑 Mega Ultra Rare (092)
The MUR (Mega Ultra Rare) is the new top rarity of the Mega era, taking over from the gold UR. There is only one per set, and in Mega Symphonia it goes to Mega Gardevoir ex, with a gold holofoil finish. It is the chase card of the set.
🎵 About Mega Symphonia
Mega Symphonia is one of the two opening sets of the Pokémon TCG Mega (M) era, both released in Japan on 1 August 2025. Its twin is Mega Brave (メガブレイブ / M1L), and together they bring Mega Evolution into the modern TCG through a new card type: the Mega ex.
There is no English booster box called Mega Symphonia. In the West, its cards were released together with Mega Brave's in Mega Evolution (ME01) on 26 September 2025, and a Korean edition came out the same day. If you want the original Japanese prints, this is the set to open.
The 5 Mega ex in the set are Mega Gardevoir ex (Psychic), Mega Latias ex (Dragon), Mega Kangaskhan ex (Colorless), Mega Manectric ex (Lightning) and Mega Abomasnow ex (Water). Each one comes as the main-set RR, an SR and an SAR, except Mega Abomasnow and Mega Manectric, which have no SAR.
The set's Supporters are Acerola's Mischief (アセロラのいたずら) and Wally's Compassion (ミツルの思いやり). Both have SR and SAR versions, and those are among the most wanted cards in the set.
