About The Time of Battle (OP-16)
OP-16 is the game's 16th booster and goes back to the Paramount War at Marineford. It brings six new Leaders: Portgas.D.Ace (red), Monkey.D.Luffy (green/blue), Buggy (blue), Sengoku (purple), Yamato (black) and Marshall.D.Teach (black/yellow).
Luffy and Buggy build around the Impel Down prisoners, Sengoku puts the three Admirals on the board and Ace leans on Whitebeard's crew. It came out in Japan on 30 May 2026 and in English, under the same name, on 12 June 2026.
Why the Japanese edition?
- It hit shelves on 30 May 2026, almost two weeks before the English release.
- It's the first Japanese One Piece Card Game box with a Treasure Rare. Up to OP-15, that rarity never appeared in Japanese product.
- The Japanese Treasure Rare is Prisoner of Impel Down (OP16-042); in the English edition it's Vista (OP16-011).
