Mega Evolution Perfect Order: everything you need to know about the set

Published 22 March 2026 · 6 min read

Perfect Order is the third set of the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution era. It came out on 27 March 2026 with Mega Zygarde ex as its star, 4 new Mega Evolutions, chase cards with some of the best artwork in the series and a more compact structure than the previous sets.

Here is everything in the set, the cards people talk about most and the products released with it.

What is Perfect Order?

Perfect Order (code ME03) is the third expansion of the Mega Evolution series. It is the Western counterpart of the Japanese set Nihil Zero (Munikis Zero / ムニキスゼロ), released in Japan in January 2026. The theme stays tied to Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Lumiose City, with Mega Zygarde ex as the star card.

The set came out on 27 March 2026 in English and in the Spanish edition (Equilibrio Perfecto). It is fairly compact: 88 cards in the main set and 124 with the secret rares. The artwork is identical to the Japanese Nihil Zero set.

The 4 new Mega Evolutions

Perfect Order brings 4 Mega Evolutions that are new to the TCG (they first appeared in Japan in Nihil Zero):

Mega Zygarde ex

Star card of the set

The Kalos legendary arrives with Nullifying Zero: flip a coin for each of your opponent's Pokémon, and each heads does 150 damage to that Pokémon. Its Special Illustration Rare is one of the most striking illustrations in the set.

Mega Starmie ex

The most competitive

One of the strongest cards in the set for competitive play. 330 HP, Jetting Blow for 120 plus 50 to one of your opponent's Benched Pokémon, and Nebula Beam for 210. Its Special Illustration Rare fires a laser beam from its core in a dynamic composition.

Mega Clefable ex

Special Illustration Rare

320 HP and the Ability Luminous Wing. Its Special Illustration Rare is a burst of pink and sparkle.

Mega Skarmory ex

260 HP

A snipe attack that does 220 damage to any of your opponent's Pokémon. It has no Special Illustration Rare, but its secret rare is one of the most eye-catching cards in the set thanks to its dynamic composition.

The chase cards

Beyond the 4 Megas, these are the cards that draw most of the collector demand:

Meowth ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Special Illustration Rare

A thick yellow comic-style border and vivid colors. The Team Rocket connection makes it hard to resist, and its Ability, Last-Ditch Catch, searches your deck for any Supporter.

Clefairy (Illustration Rare)

Illustration Rare

Probably the best-looking Illustration Rare in the set. It ties in visually with the Mega Clefable ex Special Illustration Rare, so the two make a great pair in a binder.

Jacinthe (Special Illustration Rare)

Special Illustration Rare · Supporter

A Legends: Z-A character. Jacinthe appears elegantly dressed in a scene that mixes fashion and food. Supporter Special Illustration Rares always draw strong demand from collectors.

Rosa's Encouragement (Special Illustration Rare)

Special Illustration Rare · Supporter

Rosa is one of the most popular characters in the TCG. Her Special Illustration Rare has a retro look that drew plenty of attention in Japan, and it is a strong candidate for the most wanted card in the set.

Mega Zygarde ex (Mega Hyper Rare)

Mega Hyper Rare · The hardest to pull

There is only 1 card at this rarity in the whole set, and it is very hard to pull. That scarcity makes it the most exclusive card in Perfect Order.

Decidueye ex (Ultra Rare)

Secret Rare

Sniper's Eye lowers its attack costs, and Crushing Arrow does 240 damage and discards an Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon. One of the most competitive cards in the set.

Why is Perfect Order a good set?

A compact set. With 88 cards in the main set, it is smaller than Phantasmal Flames or Ascended Heroes. Completing it is more realistic, and each box has a higher share of relevant cards.

Chase cards spread across the set. Collectors want the Zygarde, Meowth, Rosa and Jacinthe Special Illustration Rares, and players want Mega Starmie, Decidueye and Meowth. The value doesn't sit on a single card.

Mega Zygarde. Zygarde is one of the most underrated legendaries in the franchise. Its Mega Evolution finally gives it the spotlight in the TCG, and its Special Illustration Rare and Mega Hyper Rare look like long-term collection pieces.

Two languages. It came out in English and in Spanish on the same day, so you can pick your language without waiting.
