If you've never played, here's our advice as a specialist store:
- Buy a Starter Deck . FS01-FS05 are the classic, cheapest ones. FS09/FS10 (Shallot/Giblet EX) are closer to today's meta.
- Play 10-15 games with the base deck before spending more. You need to get the flow: Energy → Leader → Awaken → Combos.
- Open 1-2 Booster Boxes of the newest set to grow your collection.
- Find your favorite archetype , for example Red (pressure), Blue (control), Green (resources) or Yellow (combo).
- Upgrade with singles . Buy single cards to tune your deck instead of opening more blind packs.

What is Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World?
Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World (DBSCG Fusion World) is BANDAI's official card game, launched on 16 February 2024. It's a separate game from the original Dragon Ball Super Card Game, with a faster format, mechanics like Awaken and a cleaner card design. You play with a 50-card deck plus 1 Leader.
How many Dragon Ball Fusion World sets are there?
Up to FB09 there were 23 official sets: 9 main Booster Packs (FB01 to FB09), 2 Manga Boosters (SB01 and SB02) and 12 Starter Decks (FS01 to FS12). Since then, Japan has had FB10 Cross Force (13 June 2026), Story Booster 01 (8 August 2026) and FB11 Brightness of Hope (12 September 2026).
What's the best set to start with?
If you've never played, go for a Starter Deck (FS): preconstructed decks, ready to play. FS01-FS05 are the classic starters (Goku, Vegeta, Broly, Frieza, Bardock). For something newer, FS09 Shallot EX and FS10 Giblet EX come with power upgrades. If you already know the game, the FB07-FB09 Booster Packs have the most current meta cards.

What are the most valuable Dragon Ball Fusion World cards?
The top tier are the SCR★★ Super Alt-Arts (marked _p2 in the official database), followed by the alt-art Leaders and SRs (_p1). Among the most sought after are the FB01 Son Goku SCR and the SCR★★ cards of FB07 Wish for Shenron and FB08 Saiyan's Pride. Check each set's post for its full list of chase cards.
Are Japanese and English cards interchangeable?
They're functionally identical: same rules, same effects. The only differences are the text language and, now and then, slight changes in print colors. Japanese sets come out first, while English cards are easier to find in the West.
What is the Awaken mechanic?
Awaken is how Leader Cards evolve in Fusion World. When your life drops to 4 or less, you can flip your Leader to reveal its awakened side, usually with more power, new abilities and alternate art. It's one of the key tactical calls in the game: when to take enough damage to awaken.
