🥋 Mega Brave (M1L) kicked off the Mega Evolution era in Japan on 1 August 2025, the same day as its twin set, Mega Symphonia. The card everyone is after is Mega Lucario ex MUR (092/063), the only MUR in the set.
What's in the Mega Brave Japanese Booster Box?
Official The Pokémon Company product, factory sealed:
- 30 booster packs per box
- 5 cards per pack (150 cards in total)
- 92-card set list: 63 main cards and 29 secret rares (12 AR, 11 SR, 5 SAR and 1 MUR)
- Chase cards:
- Gold Mega Lucario ex MUR (092/063)
- SARs of Mega Lucario ex, Mega Venusaur ex and Mega Absol ex
- Lillie's Determination SAR (091), one of the most wanted cards in the set, plus a second Trainer SAR
- Bulbasaur (064) and Ivysaur (065) ARs, which line up with the Mega Venusaur ex SAR (087) into one continuous illustration
About the Mega Brave (M1L) set
Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia brought Mega Evolution back to the game together, this time as Pokémon ex that give up three Prize cards when they're Knocked Out. Mega Brave has five of them: Mega Lucario ex, Mega Venusaur ex, Mega Absol ex, Mega Mawile ex and Mega Camerupt ex.
Its cards reached the West on 26 September 2025 as part of the Mega Evolution expansion, combined with the cards from Mega Symphonia.
Why the Japanese version?
- In Japan, Mega Brave is a standalone 92-card set with its own MUR. The English Mega Evolution expansion merges Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia into one.
- It came out almost two months before the English release.
