About Super Electric Breaker (SV8)
It was released in Japan on 18 October 2024 with Pikachu ex on the cover. Alongside it come Pokémon ex such as Milotic ex, Hydreigon ex, Durant ex, Scovillain ex, Palossand ex, Tatsugiri ex and Slaking ex.
In English, its cards arrived as part of Surging Sparks on 8 November 2024 with different numbering: the Pikachu ex SAR is 238/191 there. The Korean release followed on 27 November 2024.
Why the Korean version?
- It's the Japanese set as released, 138 cards numbered /106, in Korean and in a box of 30 packs of 5
- The two Trainer SARs swap numbers: Jasmine's Gaze is 134 and Clemont's Quick Wit is 135; in Japanese it's the reverse
- Pikachu ex keeps its Japanese numbers here (132 and 136) instead of the Surging Sparks ones
