✨ The chase in Frieren Vol.2 (SFN/S136) is the Frieren & Himmel SSP, double-signed by Atsumi Tanezaki and Nobuhiko Okamoto on a newly drawn illustration. It's the second Frieren set in Weiss Schwarz, and it covers season 2 of the anime (which premiered in January 2026) plus the First-Class Mage Exam arc from season 1.
What's in the Weiss Schwarz Frieren Vol.2 Japanese booster box?
Official Bushiroad product, factory sealed:
- 10 booster packs per box, 8 cards per pack (80 cards in total)
- Set code SFN/S136: 100 regular cards and 115 parallels
- Regular cards: 10 RR, 22 R, 28 U, 28 C and 12 Climax Rares
- Chase cards:
- SSP (3 cards) with two foil-stamped signatures each: Frieren & Himmel, Fern & Stark, Serie & Methode
- SP (12 cards) with foil-stamped signatures from 10 voice actors
- RRR (12 cards) and SR (88 cards)
About the Frieren Vol.2 (SFN/S136) set
It follows Vol.1 from April 2024 and its March 2026 reissue. All three SSPs use art drawn for this set, and Methode, Genau, Übel and Land get signature cards for the first time; Vol.1 had no signed card for any of them.
After the Frieren & Himmel SSP, the most valuable cards in Japan are the "Thousand-Year-Old Elf" Frieren SP and the "First-Class Mage" Fern and "Exceptional Magic Technique" Frieren SPs. The Fern & Stark SSP is right behind them.
Vol.2 shares its title (SFN) with Vol.1, so you can mix cards from both in the same Neo-Standard deck.
Heads up: 10 packs, not 12
The Vol.1 box had 12 packs. This one has 10, still 8 cards per pack, the same as Re:ZERO Vol.4. That's what Bushiroad's official product page lists.
